Culminating Event 2024
We are delighted to invite you to a mini conference to be held on June 21 at USC, exploring our immersive and mixed reality future. This future will be powered by spatial computing which is estimated to become a $377 Billion market by 2030. The Neely Center has five talented MBA student Fellows who have been studying new use cases and ethical challenges central to its development. They will share their insights alongside additional experts from the field and we're excited to invite you to join in the conversation. You can RSVP here.
The event will take place at USC on Friday, June 21 from 9:30am-3:00pm (PST). We will provide coffee and light refreshments in the morning and lunch will be provided at noon. The event will conclude with refreshments, stimulating conversations, and tech demos.
Event Highlights:
Fellows' Presentations: Learn about the projects firsthand as our fellows showcase their solutions to critical ethical challenges. These presentations highlight the cutting-edge insights and applications of their work across different industries, including healthcare, venture capital, entertainment, and tech startups.
Insights from Industry Insiders: Gain new insights from insiders and experts in the field. Our speaker lineup features: Avi Bar-Zeev, Founder and President of XR Guild, formerly at Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Disney; April Boyd Noronha, CEO of XR Safety Initiative; Carrie Shaw, Founder and CEO of Embodied Labs; and Sonya Haskins, Head of Programming at AWE.
Networking: Conclude the day with a coffee hour and conversations to discuss potential collaborations or broaden your professional network among peers and leaders who are at the forefront of technological and ethical development.
