join us in creating a better future

New technologies are regularly adopted by society without sufficient understanding of the risks and potential consequences. It often takes years for researchers to adequately understand the effects of technologies on users. Eliminating this gap between the time of adoption and documentation of consequences is critical to ensuring that new tools improve – rather than undermine – the health and well-being of users.

The Psychology of Technology Institute supports researchers across disciplines, helping them produce high-quality scientific research on how new technologies influence individual and collective psychology before those technologies become ingrained in society. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we rely entirely on contributions from individuals and foundations to fund our ongoing work. Thank you for considering a tax-deductible gift to support us as we advance and amplify research aimed at improving the human-technology relationship!
